ENGLISH NEXT DOOR Language Centre was opened in September 2006 with the aim to offer quality English language teaching, appropriate to the latest requirements of the Common European Framework. Studying French and Spanish is another opportunity for our students from September 2008.
For the English language courses we use modern coursebooks of distinguished publishers such as Oxford University Press, Longman and Cambridge University Press , alongside with modern methods of teaching and audio, video and multimedia resources put into practice. Our students enjoy working on their own Portfolio, which includes their Language Passport and Language Biography. ENGLISH NEXT DOOR issues a certificate on completion of the course at each level. In our teaching practice we give priority to achieving an effective communication in English. This is the reason why we have decided to prepare our students for taking the examinations of Trinity College London and getting an internationally recognized Certificate in Spoken English. These Graded Examinations in Spoken English give our students the opportunity to get a fair assessment of their progress at each level, made by Trinity College examiners and to understand how effective their language training has been so far. At ENGLISH NEXT DOOR you can prepare for the University of Cambridge ESOL examinations - FCE, CAE and CPE as the highest levels. Thus you will have another great opportunity to get a worldwide recognized certificate. All our students can attend the monthly editions of the Extra English Club where they can practise the language together with their teacher and students from other groups. They can also invite a friend because our door is open for everyone who would like to join the club lessons and participate in discussions on appealing topics. We have set an objective to make all our students read original English books. We have chosen the winter holidays as a suitable time for our students to do this. Their reading at home is preceded by special lessons in which they get acquainted with the book, which is a graded reader from Oxford University Press. The test that follows includes reading comprehension exercises. Learning a foreign language is not easy, especially if you want to make a steady progress. It takes time and patience but it's worth doing it. You can take the challenge and join us to travel all the way up to success - from absolute beginner to proficient user. And remember - the sooner, the better. Your children can start a language course at the age of 5 or earlier and it's never late for an adult to start. Working people can join an evening course or a course at the weekend. One-to-one lessons are also a good choice. At ENGLISH NEXT DOOR you can get some professional advice and do a diagnostic test to determine your level of English, French or Spanish.
Our team of qualified teachers tries hard to meet the needs of all our students and to make them feel special. So, join us and experience the magic of studying a foreign language in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
